The “Space Jam” version never actually released at retail until the initial batch of retros in 2000 to the surprise of many. The rest of that Eastern Conference Finals series Michael Jordan laced up a predominantly black colorway that would come to be known as the Air Jordan 11 “Space Jam” in later years after the same look was featured in the animated film.
